Private lessons are undoubtedly the most effective way to learn yoga. Whether you’re a beginner looking for some confidence before your first public class or trying to master the basics of yoga or you’re an advanced practitioner looking to refine their technique, personal tuition develops your flexibility, strength and sense of wellbeing in a way that’s unique to you… and you don’t have to go out in the cold to get to class if you don’t want to! I’m always happy to sketch out a sequence or poses to work on between sessions.
If you’re looking to rehabilitate a specific injury or working with a physical limitation or illness, we can work with an individually selected group of postures and pranayama (breathing exercises) and give you the attention you might not get in a public class. Alternatively, you might be interested in yoga therapy, which can be really useful when dealing with a range of physical or emotional issues, from cancer recovery to divorce, exam stress to addiction.
I have a lot of experience and really enjoy working 1-to-1 or in small groups with clients, and am happy to hold sessions either at your home or in my yoga space in Winskill, Penrith.
